What are my rights as a victim of crime?

In Europe, even within the European Union, victims' rights differ per country. Victim Support Europe has the opinion that a victim of crime in the European Union is entitled to certain rights, regardless the country where he or she became a victim. Therefore Victim Support Europe promotes the establishment and development of victims rights and victim services throughout Europe.
